Birthday time part 2

Yesterday  I shared with  you the gift and card that I had made for my youngest daughter. Today I am showing what I have done for my eldest daughter who lives in Nottingham. She is going to be 26 next Monday (gosh where did those years go to) but I don't think she visits this blog so I am safe to put up what I will be giving her when we see her at the weekend.
Firstly , I made another of the six sided boxes which is made from the mini milk carton.

Materials used
Cardstock: Wisteria Wonder, Very Vanilla
Paper: DSP Cheerful Treat ( Hostess gift)
Ribbon: Chantilly.
Dies: Mini Milk Carton  and Embosslits die Beautiful Wings
Pearls to finish.

Like her sister's box it also contained some nail varnishes. These boxes are ideal for small gifts . If you would like to make one please contact me to purchase the supplies you need.

After that  I made her a birthday card:

This was cased from Victoria's site and  was really easy to make.
Materials used.
Card Stock: Basic Black, Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette
Ribbon:Satin ribbon
Punch:Bird Builder (for the leaves)
Stampset:Happiest Birthday Wishes ( Hostess gift)
Die: Flower, Daisies#2
Embossing folder: Perfect Polka Dots
The brads were non SU.

Well that's it for today. Thank you for visiting and please come back later in the week when I will share some of the samples of the wedding staionary that I have started preparing.

Birthday time

Hi Ladies

I apoligise for not blogging for a while but I have been really busy over the Easter break doing lots and lots of crafting. I have been making birthday cards and gifts for both my daughters, samples of wedding stationary for my eldest daughter, swaps for the training day in Reading at the end of the month as well as preparing for our next crop on Valley Park. My scissors haven't touched the ground.

Today I am going to share with you the card and gift that I made for my youngest daughter and I will post examples of other work that I have done later in the week.
This was the birthday card that I made. the colours of Pool Party and Calypso Coral go really well together.
Materials used:
Cardstock: Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Very Vanilla
Stampsets: Fresh Vintage ( Now retired), Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper : DSP Domestic Goddess
Punches: Decorative Label ( which is cut twice), Scallop edge boder, Large Oval
Embosslits die: Beautiful Wings
Paper piercing in the corners to finish. This was cased from Jo's website here

I next made a gift box from the mini carton die which is really great and has lots of uses.

Inside the sellophane bag there are 2 nail varnishes which I know she will love as she loves painting her nails.

Materials used
Cardstock: Island Indigo, Very Vanilla
Paper : DSP, Everyday Enchantment ( now retired)
Ribbon: Ruffled ribbon in Island Indigo
Embosslits die: Beautiful Wings
Pearls to finish.

I have made another one for my eldest daughter in different colours which I will share with you later in the week.
Finally at the end of last week I met up with my sister in Oxford which is roughly half way between Southampton and Northampton where she lives. We usually try to do this 3 or 4 times a year , and we always visit the lovely cake shop which is in the covered market. My daughter isn't a lover of birthday cake so I bought her a small cake so that we coud have a slice.
They will ice them while you wait and the icing comes in lots of colours and purple is her favourite.
Thanks for visiting , please come back later in the week to see what else I have been making.
Love

Spring Card

Hi Ladies
This week the challenge from the ladies at Simply stampin challenge is a colour combo:

I love these colours as they have a lovely spring feel to them. However, the warm weather that we had last week has been replaced with cold rain. I do hope that it warms up a bit for Easter so that everyone can get out and enjoy themselves.
I don't have a Tangerine Tango inkpad so I have used Pumpkin Pie instead . I think it works equally as well, so this is what I have produced:

 Materials used:
Cardstock: Wild Wasabi, Whisper White.
Paper: Brights stack - Daffodil Delight
Stamppads: Wild Wasabi, Pumpkin Pie
Stampset: Everything Eleanor
Tools: Punch - Scallop circle, Embosslits Die - Beautiful Wings
Pearl to finish the birds eye.

I am waiting for my preorder from the summer mini to arrive and can't wait to start using some of the fantastic new products. I had hoped that it would arrive today but with the bank holidays it won't arrive until Tuesday so I shall have to wait until then.
I hope that you like my card as I enjoyed making it.

Love
