Hi Ladies As the weather is so awful ( it's snowing heavily this afternoon) I decided to set out to see how many challenges I can enter this week . So I have found three challenges for today to which I can enter one card. Materials used for this card: Cardstock: Whisper White, Early Espresso. Stamp pads: Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Lucky Limeade, DSP : Domestic Goddess, Paper stack in Brights. Tools : Punches, Lace ribbon border, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border, Stamp sets: Posy Punch and Happiest Birthday Wishes ( Hostess) I am entering this card to the Simply Stampin Challenge which has a sketch this week and I was really please to come in the top three for their challenge last week: I am also entering it for the ColorQ challenge which is a blog for a colour challenge every week and this is the first time I have entered this one: Finally I am entering it for the St Lukes Hospice monthly challenge, this is a charity challenge which I try and enter regularly as
Both the Less is More Challenge and the Simply Stampin Challenge have asked for cards using leaves as inspiration this week. The Lovely as a Tree stamp set is a beautiful set which I recently purchased but have not used yet so this was a good chance to use it. The first one inspired me so much that I made a second one. The layout for both is similar. They both have double score lines above and below the image. The first one uses the oak leaves and the acorn which was stamped in Chocolate Chip and then blended using the blender pen with a little Pumpkin Pie. The second card uses the group of trees and then underneath the score lines I have stamped the small leaf in Chocolate Chip,Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive.
I am entering this card in the Make my Monday challenge week 27 which this week is to design seasonal card with glitter. The snowflakes do have some dazzling diamonds on them but it is quite difficult to see. I am also going to enter it in the Simply Stampin' Challenge #36 which is a Snowflake sparkle. and here is a close up of the snowflakes
