Simple Thank you card

Hi all
The challenge set by the ladies at the Less is More challenge ,(http://simplylessismoore.blogspot.co.uk/) is to use one of two cards that they have designed and to CASE it in some way. I have used Jen's design and incorporated paper piercing into a design that it so simple it would only take a couple of minutes to replicate.
I do really like the effect that paper piercing has on a card and it is so easy to do.
For this card I used the Four Frames stampset, basic grey and black ink, paper piercer and the essentials pack plus a small sentiment.

Less is more challenge

Hi all
I hope that you are all enjoying your weekend. It poured most of the day yesterday on the South coast but today is currently lovely and sunny.
The ladies at the Less is More challenge( http://simplylessismoore.blogspot.co.uk/) have set us quite a challenge this week. It is a one layer card with the theme of a film. So I racked my brains to think of a stampset that I have that could possibly be linked to a film.
I came up with The Sound of Music. I black embossed the musical notes and then spritzed the card with silver before finally using the paper piercer and one of the Festive piercing pack to make a shaped outline.
The stamp is from the stampset Natures Pace from the current catalogue which has 6 stamps in it. The wood set costs £21.95 and the clear set costs £17.95 . If you would like to order it please get in touch.
Yesterday Aly and I held one of our Stampin up workshops where we showed the ladies several projects which they then made. Pleas come back later in the week to see what we produced.
Until next time

I have used the lovely Tea for Two Designer Series papers which go really well with the card stock of So Saffron and Island Indigo.
There are still a few places left so if you would like to join us for a day of crafting please let me know.

I have just come across a weekly challenge called the Dynamic Duo challenge. They set a challenge to make a project using just two of the Stampin up colours, you can also use a neutral such as Crumb Cake or Very Vanilla.
This weeks colours are Pool Party and Cherry Cobbler.
This card uses my favourite stampset Blooming with Kindness and Papillion Potpourri .
Go to http://thedynamicduoschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/dynamic-duos-47-light-aqua-cherry-red.html to see further examples made with this weeks colours.

Less is more challenge

Hi all
I haven't taken part in a challenge for a while so thought that I would take part in the less is more challenge http://simplylessismoore.blogspot.co.uk/, where this weeks challenge is to use lime and black. Doing challenges often makes me come out of my comfort zone and do something that I would not normally design and this challenge set me thinking as I wouldn't usually put these two colours together.
I decided to use just one stampset , Everything Eleanor , which is a lovely set and this I what I did. I am no really happy with it as I would prefer to build up some layers.
Until next time

Spring Sampler

Hi All
My neighbours daughter has just had a baby girl so I decided to make her one of the box framed art and use a stampset called Spring Sampler which we were given at convention last November. The set contains 24 small stamps which are ideal for this type of project. I used four colours ~ Pretty in Pink, Primrose Petals, Perfect Plum and Wisteria Wonder. I then put it into one of the white framed box frames before I gave it to them. They really loved it, hope that you enjoy it

Until next time
