Less is More Challenge

Hi All
The first stampset that I ever bought about 8 years ago was a lovely pair of mules with kitten heels and I used it over and over again for a long time. The challenge over at Less is More this week is to use this photo as inspiration:
I immediately thought of my first stamp and dug it out so that I could use it for this challenge.

Although the stamp is not Stampin up the rest of the materials used are and you would need the following:
Cardstock :Whisper White, Basic Black
Ink :Basic Black
Embossing Folder Stripes
Framelits : Deco Labels Collection
Black satin ribbon

I did enjoy this challenge using my first stamp again

Until next time

J is for...........

Hi All
I am sorry that I haven't blogged for a while, I have been busy crafting finalising my daughters wedding stationary as well as working on another wedding commission.
Moving on to J in the Stampin up alphabet, there is just one stampset in the current catalogue that begins with the letter J . Just Married has 5 stamps within the set and comes in both wood and clear. Unfortunately I do not have this set in my collection so the examples that I am sharing have come from other blogs online.
Please come back soon when I will move onto K and L

Less is More Challenge

Hi all
Here is my second entry for this weeks Less is More Challenge. It uses one of the Kraft boxes from Stampin up which are very simple to make and can be decorated for any occasion.

This one has been decorated by putting a belly band around it which was made using DSP and linen thread and then topped with a handmade flower , a brad and some ribbon. All it needs now is a chocolate gift inside it.

Less is More Challenge

Hi All
Today I am showing you my entry for this week's Less is More Challenge where they are asking for projects using handmade flowers.
I thought that I would enter a project other than a card so I m entering a 3D project which I made a while ago and usually sits on my desk at work
I do enjoy making 3D projects especially boxes , but this is something completely different.

The flowers were all made using the blossom punch from Stampin up which has a coordinating stampset Mixed Bunch, so it is really useful

Please come back tomorrow when I will have an easy gift box to show you.

Demonstration using the BigShot

Hi All
It is absolutely scorching on the South coast today. Four weeks today we will be enjoying my daughters wedding at Nottingham cathedral so I hope that we have a sunny day for that.
Tomorrow I am demonstrating the BigShot at Hobbycraft in Southampton. The BigShot is a really useful piece of equipment for crafters an I usually use mine every day.
Today I am sharing with you the samples I have prepared or the Make and Takes. I have done similar designs in different colour ways so that there is a choice or those that want to make one.
Here's what they will be doing

The first card uses the stampset Blue Ribbon and the second one uses Chalk Talk and it's coordinating framelits.
I hope you enjoy your weekend

I is for............

Hi All
Continuing the Stampin up alphabet and we have reached the letter I. There are just two sets that bein with I . It's a Wrap Occasions and Itty Bitty Banners. I  have chosen Itty Bitty Banners which is  6 stamp set which coordinates with Bitty Banners Framelits Dies. It is a very versatile set which old be used on almost every card.
I made these little boxes for table gifts for one of our crops and used the Thank you sentiment which I curled with a pencil so that it sat around the shape of the box.

Last nights party

Hi All
I hope that you are all enjoying the lovely weather . I have the rest of the week off from work and today I have been trying to prep for my demonstration of the Big Shot at Hobbycraft in Southampton on Saturday, but it is so hot in my craft room upstairs that I had to keep taking breaks and cool down outside.
Last night I did a party for a group of ladies, most of which had never crafted before. They really enjoyed it and produced some lovely cards.
I used the stampset Flower Shop for the first time and it is a great set which is going to get lots of use.
Here is what they produced

I have used this card at other classes and is an easy one to get beginners started. This uses the stampset Everything Eleanor .

These are some of the examples which the ladies produced.
